Apple's new tablet device, the iPad

Apple finally introduced their new tablet device today. It is based upon the iPhone, so it looks like you'll need to hold on to your desktop or laptop for a bit longer. It's more functional than an iPhone or iPod Touch, but not a full computer like your Mac. It sits nicely between the two devices. Looks like a nice all around device for home use for everything from reading your daily paper and books to watching movies, listening to music, browsing the Web and reading email.
They will be available from Apple beginning in March for $499-829, depending on the model.
